GET GAS COMPANY Bills
The following will be useful if you want to do a cost/benefit analysis or energy assessment for your home
How to Get Copies of your Gas Bills Online
- Have your Gas Company Bill in hand.
- Turn on your computer.
- Open Internet Explorer or any other web browser.
- Enter in the address bar: www.socalgas.com
- On the right hand side of the screen under “My Account,” click “Sign Up”
- Read through instructions and click on “Sign Up”
- This takes you to another page labeled “My Account”
- Here, fill in your Account number, Amount of Last SoCalGasBill, and Zip code, which can all be found on your last gas bill.
- Then click Submit.
- This brings you to the next page to further register
- Enter a User ID
- Enter your First and Last name
- Enter your email address
- Enter a password
- Choose a security question and Enter the answer ( this will assist you in future log ins in case you forget your User Name/Password)
- Be sure to click the box next to “I have read and agree to the online account management usage agreement.”
- Click Submit after all the necessary boxes are filled in.
- Then your request will be processed, if successful, your screen will say “Registration Successful!”
- From here, you may view your account by click on “here”
- You will need to Enter your new User ID and Password to access your account. Fill that in and click “Submit”
- This will bring you to the Home page of your Account.
- Here you may view your past bills by Clicking “View My Bill” under the “My Account” Tab.
- Once under the “Bill” tab, you may view your bill.
- If you want to just view individual months, you may select the period of charges in the pull down tab labeled, “Select Bill Date.” This will bring you to the Billing information for that period.
- If you want to view the overall summary of all charges, click on the “Usage History” button next to the “Summary,” “Messages,” and “Bill History.”
- Once you have selected the bill you would like to print, just go to “File” and click “Print.”
- If you would like to email it, then select all (or the portion you want to email) by highlighting it and copying and pasting onto a separate document under Microsoft word or some other writing program.
- Then save the document to a destination and using your email provider, email it to any destination.
