GET Electric COMPANY Bills
The following will be useful if you want to do a cost/benefit analysis or energy assessment for your home
How to Get your Electric Bills Online
Have your Southern California Edison Bill in hand
- Using Internet Explorer or any other browser, go to: www.sce.com
- On the left hand side of the screen, under “SCE.com Log In” and “Forgot your password?” click “Register”
- Enter your User Name and Email Address:
- Enter your First and Last Name
- Enter a useable Email Address. Retype your Email Address
- Enter in an Alternative Email Address (however, this is optional); Retype
- Create a User Name and Password:
- Enter a User Name in which you will use to log in to your SCE Account (be sure to write this information down)
- Enter a Password; Retype Password
- Enter your Security Information
- Enter your Zip Code
- Enter your date of birth (be sure to have it in the stated format of mm/dd/yyyy)
- Choose a security question and Enter the answer (this will assist you in future log ins in case you forget your User Name/Password)
- Click Continue
- Enter Your SCE Customer Account Number and the Last Four Digits of Either Social Security Number or Tax-ID
- Your Customer Account Number is located at the top right-hand side of your SCE Bill. It is a 10-Digit Number; Enter this number
- Now you have a choice of entering either the last four digits of your SSN or Tax ID No.
- If either number cannot be matched to the Account Number, then you will be asked if you want to receive an activation code in the mail.
- You may also call the customer support number on the left of the screen to provide SCE with your SSN or Tax-ID, and return to the site to enroll later.
- Click on the first box if you would like to receive email updates from SCE about rebates, savings, and promotions (this is optional)
- Read the “My Account Online Services”
- Click on the box for “I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions for My Account Registration” (this is required)
- Click Register Now

- Your Login User Name is: (be sure to remember this name)
- You will have the option of enrolling in Paperless Online Billing and/or Online Payment. If you do not want to pay bills online, be SURE to not select this option or else they will stop mailing you the copy of the bill.
- You do not have to choose either at this time; you may click Continue and complete your enrollment in My Account.
- You can always enroll in either option at any time.
- My Account - This page indicates all of your account information. The tabs on this page are:
- My Account Info: You have the choice again to “Sign up to View Bill” or to “Sign up to Pay Bill,” which are both offered online.
- Billing and Payment History: offers a list of your bill/payment history
- Usage History: provides the KWH info and your Average Daily Usage. You may click on Details for any date to view your Rate Schedule, which explains your charge factor, amount, etc.

- Paperless Online Billing Sign-Up Account
- This option allows you to view your bill online
- An email notification will be sent out when your bill is ready and when your bill is due
- You may print out the email notice for your records
- Sign Up
- Click the first box, “Yes, I want to receive my bills online…”
- Click the second box, “Also send Paperless Online…” if you want to receive notification in your alternative email address
- Click the third box, “I Agree to Terms and Conditions for Paperless Billing”
- Click Submit
- Paperless Online Billing Sign-Up Account Verification
- On this page, you are able to pre-screen your enrollment information. Be sure your information is accurate and that the email is correct.
- Click Edit if you want to change the information
- Click Submit if the information is accurate.
- Paperless Online Billing Sign Up Account – Confirmation
- If you have any questions, please call the Internet Help Line at 1-800-409-2365, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (excluding holidays).
- Enrollment Details: shows your Account Name, Account Number, and your Enrollment Status (which should be “Enrollment Succeeded”)
- Click Continue to My Account
Now you are ready to view your bill online!
- Under the “My Account Info” tab, click View Bill
- You are able to view both the front and back side of the bill.
- If your bill is not currently available, go back to the previous page and click the “Previous Bill” tab below the “My Account Info” tab
- On the left hand side, click “Log Out” to securely log out of your account.
